Baptisms

 Sunday afternoon, our church had eight baptisms out at a nearby lake.
My sisters and I were three of the eight. :)

 Singing at the edge of the lake. We sang a verse of a hymn between each baptism.

"We baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit."

I was so happy Dad could help with the baptism! :)

It was a lovely day and one I will always remember with joy!

Itasca Family Bluegrass Festival!

Saturday we all went to the annual bluegrass festival up by Itasca State Park. :)

The Alaska String Band.

They were amazing musicians.  The 18 year old son played the bass with great rhythm and enthusiasm - he was fun to watch!

The Benson family.  

They were my favorite!!  Their harmony was AMAZING and the dad and younger son were quite funny!

I'm thankful we were able to attend the festival this year. :)
