Truck + Mud = Family Project

The truck got stuck in a wet muddy spot by the shed and we spent yesterday afternoon getting it unstuck.

Since it was at a slightly up-hill slant and the ground is so soft, the tires spent a lot of time spinning....

 ...spraying people with mud....

 ...and digging trenches.

Finally, we discovered that an old rug worked quite well for giving traction and preventing the truck from sinking down into the lawn.
Success at last!!
It was a lot of work, but it was fun to work on a project together!

So glad you finally got the truck out of the mud!
There is quite a lot of mud out there, with all the rain we've been getting! Standing water in fields, too.
Good to be a family working together on a project, isn't it. We're actually doing that right now, too, as you probably know, if you've been reading my blog. Ours will probably have just as much dirt by the end (I'm surprised already by how much dust we've raised!) but no mud, at least that we know of, thankfully!
Blessings,
Mrs. Gunn

It has been a wet spring here too.
Yes, working together to accomplish a goal is fun! You are quite ambitious with your project! Did something happen to the floors?

Ah, wow! :D I certainly comment you girls for helping your dad and not minding (too much) about getting so dirty! :D Hugs! I am so glad you all were finally able to get the truck out though. :) Yeah!

Love and Hugs!
