Visit from Aunt Shelly and Grandma

They came last Friday and stayed until Saturday afternoon. :)
 Aunt Shelly, Grandma, and Dad.

Since Grandma's birthday was in just a few days, Ana made her a cake.
Chocolate with mint frosting - yum!  She was surprised! :)

Saturday morning we girls went for a long walk with Aunt Shelly up to "Little Siberia".
It was beautiful up there, and we had a fun time together!!

Merry Christmas!

Saturday was the W. family Christmas celebration at Uncle David's!

I enjoyed holding my cousin's youngest son, Teddy.

 Amy and Walter!

Kristen handing out the gifts.

All the great-grandchildren with Dad's mom.
Getting them all in one picture, sitting relativly still, was quite a funny experience! :D

Resurrection Sunday!

"How deep the fathers love for us!
How vast beyond all measure,
That He should give His only Son,
To make a wretch His treasure!
How can I gain from His reward?
I cannot give an answer,
These wounds born by the chosen One,
Bring many sons to glory!"

Sunday we made the long drive down to Grandma W.'s home.
The frost is really making a mess of out gravel road. It makes driving an adventure!

Waiting for lunch...and Uncle Rob, who was bringing the ham. :)
After eating, visiting and cleaning up we all went for a walk.
John helping Aunt Shelly with her shoes. :)
(She sliced her fingers when making the scalloped potatoes and couldn't tie her shoes with one hand.)

Uncle David, Dad, and Uncle Rob.

We walked up to the apartment building that Grandma is thinking of moving to.
Smile!
It was a beautiful day for a walk!  Uncle Chuck said we went 2.3 miles.

Christmas at Uncle David's

This past Sunday, Dad, Ana, and I made the 3 1/2 hour drive to Dad's older brother's home for the W. family Christmas!
There was a LOT of delicious food!

Me with my cousin Megan. :)

 Nathaniel :)

Nora, my cousin Andy's youngest daughter.
We were trying to get her to smile for a picture and she gave us this super serious face instead!! :D She is such a easy going little one and fun to hold!

 Doing puzzles

Uncle Harold brought his guitar along and we sang Christmas songs/hymns and some kid's songs (The Eency Weency Spider, The Wheels on the Bus...etc.)  It was a fun time!
